Contract Description:
This contract is to fund construction management and oversight by the US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) on behalf of BPA for components of work directly impacting the Chief Joseph Dam.

Due to the complexities of this construction and drilling to access relief tunnel water we will need construction management oversight on certain components of the construction of the Chief Joseph Hatchery.  Although the US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) are a party to the Accord agreement with the Colville Tribes and BPA they have no funds designated to conduct this work.  Therefore BPA will be funding this contract with Colville Chief Joseph Hatchery Accord funds.  The USACE construction manager will work very closely with BPA and our Construction Management firm (Tetra Tech) to implement this work.
